This file includes extensive genealogy data on members of the Carter, Simpson, Whitlock, Daughdrill, Alves, Watkins, Veazey, Jameson, and Wheeler families of Texas, Alabama, California, Massachusetts, North Carolina, and Virginia from the 1700's until today.
This GEDCOM file contains genealogical data on all of our known direct ancestors together with data on all known aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Genealogy Online (last updated October 23, 1999) provides an interactive surname index and information database of all data researched to date. All data is stored in HTML format and may be viewed online. Download the GED file to get more recently acquired data. There are some old family photographs at http://wwcom.net/pictures/.
Two of the best general genealogical databases that I have found are:GENDEX and Rootsweb.
